Renovation Project Management with Feng Shui...

The picture above is the "before" picture of the dining room. The changes we made are:
Smoothed ceilings by scraping off 'popcorn'. This makes the ceilings actually appear higher.
We added more trim to the crown molding. This makes the room feel more formal and finished and it also helps give the feeling of higher ceilings.
We took the mirror down from the top part of the wall and painted the right and left mirrors to look like regular walls. This updated the '80's mirrored wall while keeping the mirror to help reflect light and energy into the small 'inside' space.
We replaced the light fixture with a more up to date chandelier that feels more formal and 'light'.
We painted a healthy and alive green color to enhance the "health" area of this property.
We opened up the wall between the kitchen and dining room and added a bar 'pass through' and also carved out the door wall to make the kitchen feel more open. The kitchen feels more open while the normal kitchen clutter will still be behind walls and not visible from the rest of the space.

Tomorrow I will share more before and after photos of this project.
